2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to donate or place an order, and the funds you use must be lawfully yours.

3. Donations

Donations are voluntary and go towards the care, feeding, treatment and shelter of our animals, and the running of the shelter. We allocate funds according to the most urgent needs of the animals. Donations are non-refundable except in cases of duplicate or erroneous transactions. Receipts are sent to the contact details you provide. A donation gives you no ownership or control over the organisation or its animals.

4. Sponsorships

Sponsoring an animal supports its food and medical care for the stated period. It does not transfer ownership or custody, and does not entitle you to remove the animal from the shelter. If the sponsored animal recovers, is adopted, or passes away, we will inform you and apply the sponsorship to another animal in our care.

5. Products

We sell handmade cow-dung dhoop batti and organic vermicompost made at our gaushala. Being natural and handmade, minor variations in colour, texture, fragrance and weight are normal and not defects. Product images are indicative. Prices are in Indian Rupees. We may cancel any order due to pricing errors, stock issues or suspected fraud, and will refund what you paid.

Dhoop batti involves an open flame — use it on a fireproof holder, in a ventilated space, away from children, pets and flammable items. Vermicompost is for horticultural use only. Neither product is a medicine and we make no medicinal claims.

6. Shipping

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. We are not liable for courier delays, incorrect addresses supplied by you, or other circumstances beyond our control. See our Shipping Policy.

7. Refunds

Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Payments

Payments are handled by third-party gateways. We do not store your card, UPI or banking details. We are not liable for failures or delays caused by the gateway, your bank, or your network.

9. Rescue Requests

We make reasonable efforts to respond to reports of animals in distress, subject to availability, distance and safety. We cannot guarantee rescue, response time, or any particular outcome.

10. Visits & Volunteering

Visitors and volunteers enter the premises at their own risk and must follow staff instructions at all times. Animals in a shelter can be unpredictable. We may refuse entry at our discretion.

11. Your Conduct

You agree not to provide false information, use unauthorised payment instruments, collect donations claiming to represent us, disrupt or scrape the website, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend access for any breach.

12. Intellectual Property

The Pillu Parmarth Sewalaya name, logo, tagline, photographs, text and design on this site are our property and may not be reproduced or used commercially without our written permission.

13. Disclaimer & Liability

The website is provided “as is”. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid in the transaction giving rise to it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

14. Changes
